Proper Electrical Supply and Data Connection

Installing a sauna requires an electrical system tailored to its power needs. A dedicated circuit breaker, residual current device (RCD), and cables with sufficient cross-section are essential for safe operation.

Modern saunas often feature smart control systems, which require a stable data connection. A LAN cable (with RJ45 connector) or strong Wi-Fi signal is necessary to ensure smooth app control. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide these technical conditions on-site.

Structural, Plumbing, and Tiling Preparations

Cold tiling of the sauna area and adjacent rooms (such as a shower area) is a basic requirement. Similarly, water inlets, drains, and linear channels must be prepared in advance to ensure a smooth installation. For outdoor saunas, a stable, waterproof concrete foundation and proper drainage are indispensable.

Indoor sauna installations must be adapted to the existing room conditions. Preparing sanitary connections, tiling, and technical access points can shorten the installation time and ensure long-term durability.

Installation Environment and Logistical Conditions

Installing a sauna can take several days. Therefore, the site must be easily accessible by truck. Parking space may be required, and in some cases, a crane may be needed, along with proper waste disposal – for example, via a rental container.

These infrastructural conditions are essential for the safe transport, positioning, and commissioning of the sauna. The same applies to technical readiness for smart controls or app-based operation.
